The English Language Support Office (ELSO), in partnership with the Center for Teaching Innovation, invites faculty to explore questions related to the effective and ethical use of generative AI tools in graduate writing. At this roundtable event informed by multilingual graduate student perspectives, we will engage with questions such as: in what situations is the use generative AI tools permissible and effective? Where is the line between using these tools as writing assistants versus as co-writers? How might faculty open a conversation with multilingual graduate students on the use of these tools in support of their growth as a writer and language learner? We look forward to welcoming you!
