Gábor Betegh is Laurence Professor of Ancient Philosophy at the University of Cambridge and Fellow and Director of Studies in Philosophy at Christ’s College, Cambridge. Previously, he worked at the Philosophy Department of Central European University from 2001 to 2014. He studied at Eötvös University in Budapest, the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris, and at the University of Cambridge. He works on ancient philosophy, in particular on ancient metaphysics, cosmology and theology.
