The Cornell Astronomical Society will host public open house nights at the 100 year old Fuertes Observatory every Friday evening from 8pm to midnight throughout the summer! If clear, observing through the observatory's powerful telescopes will take place, with common targets being the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and countless galaxies, star clusters, and nebulae in the summer sky. If cloudy, the observatory will still be open for tours of the museum and historic telescopes.
