From Zombies & Vacants to Sustainable Housing: Building Resilient Communities

2019 CaRDI Community Development Institute
October 23 - 24, 401 Warren Hall, Cornell University

CaRDI's annual Community Development Institute focuses on critical pieces of the community development process, and is designed for a diverse audience of local community leaders, extension educators, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers at multiple levels. Each year we highlight a different theme, bringing presenters and discussants together from across New York State to share the latest research, innovative approaches, policy recommendations, and practical perspectives.

Sessions will explore the connections between Housing and:

  • Spatial Inequality
  • Economic Development
  • Community Health & Well-Being
  • Community Crime and Safety
  • Climate Change & Resiliency
  • More...

This year we are honored to be partnering with the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), Rust2Green, and Cornell University's Office of Engagement Initiatives.
