Freezing & Dehydrating: $10.00 per person. Payment must be received in advance. If you can't make the class, we will open up spots for others. You can pay online now using Paypal (you do not need a Paypal account to use this method), the system is slow, please do not hit the button more than once or you will be registered twice!


This program will help you learn the basics of Freezing & Dehydrating by demonstrating how to prepare, freeze and dehydrate fresh produce. Freezing & Dehydrating is used in a variety of foods to maintain nutrients. This class will give you the confidence to continue Freezing & Dehydrating in your own home. Bring your questions and be prepared to help with the process. Participants can take items home with them to freeze and use later! Sam Leonard is a Madison County Master Preserver and has been preserving foods for many years.
