A free film screening of Lesbian Factory will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 4:30pm in the Film Forum, Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts.
Shot by migrant worker activists in Taiwan, the documentary Lesbian Factory follows a group of Filipina migrant workers and their tumultuous same-sex love relationships while abroad. Perhaps for the first time in film history, the documentarybrings together migrant labor activism with queer love, to unpack the complex, multi-layered texture of our globalized moment.
