About this Event
The still object is an exhibition by Fernan Bilik (B.Arch. '22) that explores the concept of "stillness" and its relationship to the human/human-made object. The show features a series of sculptures in foam and wood as well and paintings and drawings.
"'Stillness' is the action by which something can become in-animated or animated again.
Through stillness humans become objects, our shapes start to extend, to shorten, to turn and to lift.
The silhouette, the shadow.
They are still but from time to time it seems like they grow, like they feel."
~Fernan Bilik (B.Arch. '22)
