The Parasitology Club is holding a fecal lecture/wetlab hosted by our own, Dr. Araceli Lucio-Forster! She will focus on fecal interpretation.
This is NOT JUST a SMALL ANIMAL event. While our lecture may focus on small animals, these topics are general and we are accepting ALL fecals for the lab! So bring in your reptile, bird, guinea pig, and, of course, dog and cat poop! You could even bring samples from some of our teaching animals (the cows have more than enough for everyone).
Worried about not seeing anything in healthy animals? Fret not! We will have some positive samples set aside to ensure you have something to look at!
Where to leave samples: That morning, we will leave a box in the walk-in cooler by the wetlab (C2-023). Please make sure the outside of the bag is clean and mark yourbag with your name. Feel free to leave it there until after the lecture, especially since...
Food will be served!
Please bring your own plate.
