Need your large Farm trucks or Ag Business Trucks inspected? Manure tankers, silage trucks, 10-wheelers, logging trucks, feed trucks, all CDL heavy-duty Class 6 and Class 8 vehicles included. Farm owners, operators, employees, Ag-business and any others have an opportunity to observe and learn about roadside safety inspections.
The FULL Level-One inspections will be carried out by NYS D.O.T. Region 5 Commercial Enforcement and by NYS Police Commercial Enforcement. NO TICKETS will be issued, but be sure your truck is up to standards. Roadside inspection confirmations will be documented with inspection reports for the truck. ‘Out of Service’ trucks must be corrected or towed same day. Participating vehicles will receive a CVS (Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance) decal that is good for 3 months. Re-inspections from 3:00 to 4:00pm if needed, or at any roadside inspection.
"It felt good to be able to take my truck somewhere voluntarily and not feel like I was a wounded fish putting blood in shark infested waters at a roadside inspection. The inspector was very friendly and he had remembered me from last year during a roadside inspection in Bath NY. I will do this every year to build a relationship with inspectors and that they know that I care about the safety of my vehicle." –Kellen Dantz, Log Truck Operator
2 Trucks per hour will be inspected, starting at 8:00am sharp. Register now to make your appointment! Please arrive 15 minutes prior to appointment. Last appointment at 2:00pm.
Register trucks by farm or business and owner. Cost of workshop is $10 per person, or $5 if enrolled with CCE Wyoming Agriculture Department. Refreshments included.
