how the light gets in is a Museum-wide exhibition of contemporary art about the movement of people across the globe, and the welcome cracks that develop in our notions of borders. As part of this opening reception, artist Aram Han Sifuentes, whose Protest Banner Lending Library is one of the participatory projects featured in the exhibition, will lead a public banner-making activity.
