Faculty Institute on Community Engaged Learning and Teaching (CELT): Critical Reflection in Community-Engaged Learning

Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 1:00pm to 1:50pm

In 2020, the CELT Community Conversations will focus on key elements of community-engaged learning courses:

  • Developing and Sustaining Community-Engaged Learning Partnerships
  • Assessing Community-Engaged Learning
  • Critical Reflection in Community-Engaged Learning

Facilitated discussion will allow participants to actively explore components of community-engaged learning, including online pedagogical innovations. Each meeting will incorporate examples, activities, strategizing and opportunity to learn from others’ experiences.

Participants are eligible for a $250 stipend if they attend all three Community Conversations, have a consultation with staff from the Center for Teaching Innovation and the Office of Engagement Initiatives and develop an action plan for their course.

CELT is co-sponsored by the Center for Teaching Innovation and the Office of Engagement Initiatives.
