Cornell professor of Science and Technology Studies Sarah Pritchard and Ithaca author and Heinz Award recipient Sandra Steingraber will be the featured speaker at the Sustainable Earth, Energy, and Environmental Systems (SEEES) speaker series on Monday, November 7, 7:30-8:45pm in 155 Olin Hall.

Steingraber is the author of "Raising Elijah: Protecting Children in an Age of Environmental Crisis" and "Living Downstream: An Ecologist’s Personal Investigation of Cancer and the Environment."

The SEEES Speaker Series, co-sponsored by the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences and the Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future, features speakers from the Cornell research community exploring the interwoven challenge of energy, climate, and the environment in the human and natural worlds. The speaker series is geared toward Cornell University freshmen and sophomores. Surrounding colleges, high schools, and the public are invited to attend.
