The Cornell Equine Hospital and Cornell Cooperative Extension are proud to host the Equine Seminar Series. These monthly virtual talks are presented by equine experts on important equine health and management topics.
"Equine Pain Management: From the Farm to the Operating Room to the ICU" Presented by Jordyn Boesch, DVM, PhD, DACVAA Founding Fellow - Pain Management, Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine
This lecture will review the various strategies, from systemic medications to advanced regional anesthetic techniques, utilized on an out- or in-patient basis to manage acute pain in horses due to surgery, trauma, colic, and other problems.
