Ithaca to Silicon Valley: Engineers Make the Best Product Managers

In 1997, Lee graduated from Cornell and moved to Silicon Valley without a job. Since then, he’s worked at both start-ups and established tech firms (some successful and some not so much) and learned a lot about common traits of successful tech companies. After leaving a large firm for a two-dozen person startup in 2006, he helped lead the company to its current size of over 2,500 employees and billings of over $300M in the most recently reported quarter. He’s learned first hand that Silicon Valley rewards risk taking, and have advice to share from a successful startup.
