Reading to babies as soon as they are born introduces language and allows parent and baby to form important emotional bonds. How can we educate an entire community about the importance of reading to babies? How can a community support and encourage families to read to their young children?
Katrina Morse, Assistant Director of Family Reading Partnership, artist, and educator will talk about the work that Family Reading Partnership has done to promote literacy in our community starting at birth. We urge anyone who is interested to come join us for a thought-provoking discussion. Light refreshments provided.
