  Ecolectro he has secured ca. $1.8M in funding from a combination of grants
 \, revenue and investment. He has led all business development and fundrais
 ing efforts since Ecolectro's incorporation. He was also a post-doctoral re
 searcher for both Héctor D. Abruña and Geoffrey W. Coates at Cornell Univer
 sity.\n\nRodriguez-Calero received his Ph.D. from Cornell University in ana
 lytical chemistry and materials chemistry where he studied under Abruña. He
  has worked in the areas of materials for renewable and clean energy techno
 logies for 10 years. He has 18 peer-reviewed articles and two patent applic
 ations.
