Nether Ithaca is a collection of works by Ellie Beaudry (B.F.A. '20), which highlight water pollution in Ithaca through an installation of consisting gouache paintings and video projection. The exhibition focuses on lead pollution at Ithaca falls due to the former Ithaca Gun Factory. Through a reimagining of this familiar landscape, this installation makes visible the hidden environmental problems that are often glossed over in the flowery nature imagery typically associated with Ithaca.
Funded in part by the CCA.
