Eliot Burk performs Chris Everingham's JIET. JIET explores interactions between Just Intonation and Equal Tempered harmonies. The process of unraveling these different interactions takes place over a large-scale composition that slowly transitions from “unity” between the two differing tuning systems to “disjunction” and eventually to a new “unity” that is altered from previous ideas. Originally from Missoula, Montana, Chris Pierandozzi Everingham is a composer and performer living and working in Santa Cruz, California.
