Ecosystem Benefits of Campus Trees

Ag Quad, Cornell Campus 236 Tower Rd

Students in PLHRT/Land Arch 4920, 'Creating the Urban Eden' have calculated the environmental benefits of trees on the Ag Quad over the next 25 years. Energy conservation, stormwter abatement, air pollution reduction and carbon sequestraition will be calculated for approximately 60 trees. Posters displaying their findings will be fixed to the trees for 2 weeks spanning Earth Day and Arbor Day.
