Asian & Asian American Center
The Asian & Asian American Center and Center for Intercultural Dialogue would like to cordially invite you a conversation with Professor Ji Li from Brown University on her research and how it relates to you.
A brief from her research:
Learning is a universal human capacity and activity. However, Western and East Asian people hold fundamentally different beliefs about learning. What are the different beliefs and why are they so different? Based on decades of research and tracing the cultural origins of the two large intellectual traditions, Dr. Li has advanced an important conceptual distinction between the Western mind-model and the East Asian virtue model of learning.
