This 6 week running group is designed for beginners. We will meet two days per week for one hour, which will include warm up, a walk/run according to the schedule, a cool down, and a brief educational lesson (5-10 minutes). 

After the first 11 lessons, we will meet on October 29th to participate in the 5K Scarecrow Scuttle in Sackett's Harbor. Transportation on race day will be available.

We will use a modified version of the popular program, Couch to 5K. This program is designed for youth aged 10-18 who are enrolled in Alexandria Central School District.
