A native of Japan, now based out of Montreal & Ithaca, Daïchi Saïto has been developing his celluloid-based film practice since the early 2000s. Tonight's program will feature his latest experimental film, earthearthearth- an otherworldly journey through the Andes mountains in Chile - which was produced through strictly analog processes: shot on 16mm, edited on film and blown-up to 35mm, on which it will be projected, along with two other award-winning 35mm films by Saïto.
