 in/register\n\nMeg Lowman\, PhD\, aka “CanopyMeg\,” is an American bio
 logist\, educator\, ecologist\, writer\, editor\, and public speaker\, who
  hails from Elmira\, NY. She is the executive director of the TREE Foundat
 ion and a professor at the National University of Singapore\, Arizona Stat
 e University\, and Universiti Sains Malaysia. Nicknamed the “real-life L
 orax” by National Geographic and “Einstein of the treetops” by The W
 all Street Journal\, Lowman pioneered the science of canopy ecology. Her m
 otto is “no child left indoors.” She travels extensively for research\
 , outreach\, and speaking engagements for audiences large and small. \n\nB
 etsy Hilfiger is one of nine children\, born and raised in Elmira\, New Yo
 rk. Part of her career life was spent in the medical field using her degre
 e as a Registered Nurse. The other part was spent working in the fashion i
 ndustry with her brother Tommy Hilfiger\, and recently as Director of Comm
 unity Affairs for the Tommy Hilfiger Corporate Foundation. Betsy now works
  as the family liaison as they start their newest adventure: opening a Tom
