Ithaca will be one of thirty (30) cities across the state of New York hosting special commemorative displays entitled “New York Remembers” honoring the tenth anniversary of the September 11 attack and loss of life at the World Trade Center in New York City. Governor Andrew Cuomo announced on Wednesday that the State of New York has organized a thirty city commemoration, which will officially kick off on Sunday September 11, 2011. The exhibitions will feature artifacts from the collections of the State Museum and the national September 11 Memorial and Museum.

The exhibit will be housed downtown in the first floor of the Rothschild building, located at 215 The Commons.
