Join us for engaging sessions that foster connection and collaboration. These sessions are designed to provide an opportunity to meet members of our team and share insights on specific topics that support those who work directly with students.

DOS Unit: Centers for Student Equity, Empowerment, and Belonging (The Centers)
Topic: Tina and Victoria are the Trans Mythbusters, "who don't just tell the myths; they put them to the test!" During this session, we will discuss contemporary myths about trans people and transitioning and develop new approaches to address these myths when you encounter them. This presentation will include a look at trans history and language, while equipping participants with the tools to disrupt transphobia and create more inclusive spaces. Questions and discussions are encouraged to help develop your own skills as a Trans Mythbuster!
