This exhibit consists of limited edition prints produced by students in Cornell University's Introduction to Print Media class of Professor Gregory Page. The works convey an understanding and sense of the destruction and endangerment of the hemlock and ash trees in our region taking place through invasive insects such as the emerald ash borer and the hemlock woolly adelgid. The mission for the project was to be part of an effort to develop a constituency for the plight of the hemlock and ash trees on a larger scale. Throughout the semester, students visited Cornell Botanic Gardens’ natural areas and met with staff to get a better understanding of the plight of these trees.
