Domestic violence is often thought of as a private relationship issue. However, it has far-reaching impacts outside of the relationship and specifically within our workplace and on campus.

This training will give managers and HR professionals an understanding of:

  • What constitutes domestic violence and the prevalence of it.
  • The signs an employee may be experiencing abuse.
  • On and off-campus resources that are available to help.
  • Ways to effectively respond that address the safety and wellbeing of the victim as well as the entire workplace.
  • If, how, when, and where to report concerns related to domestic violence.
  • Labor law protections for victims and reasonable accommodations.
