Title: SPEAK AND BE HEARD: Communication Tools for Career Success
Host: Ritchie Patterson
Abstract: Optimize your collaboration skills, leadership potential, and career success while adding more value to your organization. Learn the art and science of persuasive communication. Professionals at the top of their fields are not simply subject matter experts, they are also highly skilled communicators who message quickly and easily while forging meaningful connections. You can have the best ideas in the world, but if you communicate them poorly, your career will suffer. My talk, SPEAK AND BE HEARD: Communication Tools For Career Success, improves global professional presentation and communication prowess while imparting invaluable public speaking skills. I’ll provide a targeted overview of powerful research, and offer physical and vocal adjustments audiences can integrate immediately into their professional lives.
(This colloquium is hosted by the Department of Physics, Women in Physics +, and The Center for Bright Beams).
