DESCRIPTION:Department of Physics Colloquium\, Professor Maria Dainotti\, N
ational Astronomical Observatory of Japan\n\nTitle: Probing the possible
redshift evolution of the Hubble constant with SNe Ia and future perspecti
ves with Gamma-Ray Bursts\n\nHost: Andre LeClair\n\nAbstract: The persis
tent Hubble constant tension motivates investigating whether H₀ may evol
ve with redshift. I will present a 20-bin analysis of the Master Type Ia S
upernova Sample within the flat ΛCDM model\, testing the inferred H₀ ev
olution using logarithmic and power-law parameterizations. While both form
s behave similarly up to the Cosmic Microwave Background epoch\, they dive
rge increasingly toward Big Bang Nucleosynthesis and inflationary scales\,
exhibiting qualitatively different high-redshift limits. I will discuss t
he implications and limitations of these results and future work combining
Type Ia supernovae with Gamma-Ray Bursts to extend these tests over a sub
 stantially wider redshift range.
