DESCRIPTION:Help reduce waste\, protect the environment\, and improve garde
 ns by teaching others to compost in Tompkins County! Join other enthusiasti
 c volunteers for 10 in-depth\, weekly classes\, and ~2 hours/week of practi
 cal learning outside of class. Classes cover a variety of compost and educa
 tion topics that will prepare you to become a compost educator in Tompkins 
 County. Training outside of class includes hands-on composting\, assisting 
 at events\, attending field trips\, creating a compost mini presentation\, 
 and planning an independent outreach project. After training\, use your new
  compost know-how and teaching experience to help others in the community.\
 n\n \n\nTraining classes will be held every Thursday evening\, 6:00 – 8:00p
 m\, from February 12 to April 30. To accommodate school breaks\, classes wi
 ll not be held on March 19\, or April 2.\n\n \n\nFor more information\, inc
