In this 3-part workshop series, Russell Weaver, Economic Geographer with Cornell ILR Buffalo Co-Lab will provide foundational tools to document and evaluate needs, assets, opportunities, and changing conditions in communities. No prior training in data analysis needed. Designed for: local and regional grant-writers, legislative staff members, advocates, students, and other stakeholders.
Introduce yourself to file types and software for manipulating datasets. Gain experience and skills in acquiring and preparing data to create actionable knowledge and develop an issue-specific database for participants' research question.
