The horticultural heritage showcased in the “Seeds of Survival and Celebration: Plants and the Black Experience” exhibit continues to evolve. The new "Cultivators of Celebration" display at the Nevin Welcome Center highlights individuals and organizations who preserve and advocate for the contemporary relevance of the plants in this exhibit and their histories. Join us for an opening reception of the “Cultivators of Celebration” display to learn more about the diverse work of featured cultivators and how they connect to the historical roots and future implications of Black plant traditions. We'll come together for refreshments and share an informal platform for engaging conversations and insightful Q&A between attendees and some of the featured cultivators.

This event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is not required.
