Participants can read this document and watch this video to start with background knowledge of Haitian music.
This week's session features a conversation with The Rev. David Cesar, Director of the Holy Trinity School of Music, Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
This lecture series is supported in part by Cornell SAFC, Engaged Cornell, and the Yale Concert and Jazz Bands, and has been programmed in lieu of the Wind Symphony's planned January 2021 tour of Haiti.
