New Meets Old: Collaborative Confrontations to inaugurate the Cornell Center for Historical Keyboards. Join us for a celebration of the wide range of keyboard instruments in our collection, including the organs, fortepianos, harpsichords, and more. Cornell faculty and students present multiple concerts and lecture-demonstrations, featuring music from J.S. Bach to Roberto Sierra.

9:30-10:30 Malcolm Bilson, with Xak Bjerken and Roger Moseley: An introduction to the historical keyboard collection

10:45-12:00 “Transcriptions and Translations:" Graduate students present transcriptions for a variety of keyboard instruments

PARKING: Please note that Sage Avenue will be closed for construction on Saturday morning, so allowing extra time for parking is recommended.
