DON’T MISS CU DOWNTOWN: The 4^th annual Ithaca kick-off to the school year
This event is for new and returning students and the whole Ithaca community.

Explore the city you will call home for the next four years and watch many of Cornell’s vibrant performing arts groups on stage on the Ithaca Commons, Ithaca’s outdoor pedestrian mall. See the Big Red Marching Band and Cornell Pep Band take over the Ithaca Commons, and enjoy breakdancing, Japanese drumming, a cappella, Chinese and Indian dancing, jazz, a mesmerizing balloon artist, and more. Don’t miss out on special student discounts, a scavenger hunt, and activities at retail stores and restaurants. Join groups departing from residence halls (learn how to take the local bus service from campus) or take a beautiful walk downtown via Cascadilla Gorge.
