Join Janice Degni of the South Central NY Dairy & Field Crops Team for a live-virtual webinar. Janice will walk us thru the science behind building, and maintaining, healthy soils for vegetable production in our garden or on our farm. Follow along as she discusses how to conduct a soil test, how to interpret soil test results, how to choose the correct soil amendments and incorporate them into your fields, and how to visually assess the changes. The first 15 to register will receive a free soil test. This live-virtual webinar is for veterans specifically. Attendees should have at a minimum two years of gardening experience to attend.  There is a $25 supply fee which will be refunded upon participation in the May 7th session.

The funding supporting this workshop comes from the FarmOps program at Cornell University and targets active service members & military veterans only who reside in NY or NJ. Questions and follow-up by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County will help us determine final eligibility to attend and participate in this workshop.
