The Cornell Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Gabriela Gómez Estévez, presents its annual Young Person’s Concert. Program includes Mozart’s Magic Flute Overture, Fauré’s Pelléas et Mélisande Suite, Op. 80, Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances from Prince Igor, and the first two movements of Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in G Minor performed by concerto competition winner Jonathan Indajang. This family concert will feature a pre-concert instrument petting zoo at 2pm to engage and inspire our younger audience members.
