Cornell Apple Storage Workshop

  • In addition to the Cornell team, we will have presentations by Jim Mattheis (USDA, Washington) and Jennifer DeEll (Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Canada), Dumitru Macarisin, (Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, U.S. Food and Drug Administration), Jim Shaefer (Storage Control Systems), Andrew Brink (Gas At Site), Parama Sikdar (DECCO) and David Felicetti (PACE).
  • Topics will include issues such as DCA and food safety, and review of storage recommendations, and varieties such as Gala and Honeycrisp, especially in relation to disorders and quality control.


  • BBQ the night before and Storage Workshop: $95 (there is no onsite registration for the BBQ, please register prior to July 25th)
  • Storage Workshop only: $75 ($95 after July 25th)

Includes lunch. BBQ will be at the Cornell Orchards.
