Cornell is Gorges: Finding a sense of place on campus
Wednesday, September 9, 2020 12pm
About this Event
Are you looking for a better sense of what Cornell and Ithaca are really like? Whether you are here on campus or studying remotely, we encourage you to join this session to get a better sense of what your new community has to offer. We start with a brief history of Cayuga land and showcase remarkable natural areas on campus and around Ithaca. Hear from students, faculty, and staff as they highlight some of the most popular – and lesser known – places on campus to live, learn, and have fun.
Partners: Rich Stedman (Natural Resources), Karim-Aly Kassam (Natural Resources & AIISP), Grounds, Sonja Skelly (Botanic Grounds), Cornell Outdoor Education (TBD), Cornell Health (TBD), ECO, Campus Sustainability Office
