This one-day symposium will explore the intersections of policy, practice and engagement related to health equity and justice in our criminal, health communication, environmental health and housing systems. The symposium will host renowned social scientist Melissa Creary for the keynote address, panel discussions involving local, regional and statewide researchers, community practitioners, and experts with firsthand knowledge and experience. Recent collaborative health equity research projects supported by CCHEq through oral presentations and a poster session also will be highlighted.
