Learn by Doing at Intel Museum Educational Program!
What are Silicon Chips? How do computers communicate? What is it like to work in a fab? These are just a few of the questions that students can explore through Intel Museum Eductional programs. A museum field trip offers age-appropriate technology experiences to students grades 2-12. Students can participate in a guided tour and hands-on lab.
Binary Beading (Grades 2-5): What are all those 1s and 0s that make up binary code? And for that matter, what is binary code? Students learn how computers use this "digital" language to send, process, and receive information. By using beads to represent a switch's on and off states (1 and 0,) students use binary code to pattern their initials in a beaded key chain.
Garbage In, Garbage Out (Grades 6-12): Clear communication is key in this lab. Teams of students focus on problem-solving and writing instruction sets as they decide how to put together a toy puzzle ball.
Optional self-pay restaurant venue post event TBA. This event will sell out. Please register today!
