For years, Ivy League graduates have relocated to Charlotte and have been disappointed to discover that there is no squash to speak of; in many cases, some people decide against moving here for that very reason.
Well, no longer should that be the case!
The Charlotte Squash Club is Charlotte's first and only dedicated squash facility.
Scheduled to open in November, the club will have four beautiful, international singles courts by Power Courts, offering state-of-the-art technology in walls, flooring and lighting. (Power Courts was co-founded by former world # 1 squash player, Jon Power.)
Our squash pro is Mirzaman Gul of Pakistan, former # 6 in the world and coming to us from the Chevy Chase Athletic Club in Maryland.
The club is located at 5660 International Drive, Suite C - not far from the intersection of Providence Rd. and Old Providence Rd.
We are having two Open House events, and all are welcome!
There will be clinics, exhibition matches, "meet the pro," etc.
