The Metaphysics and Normativity of Functions

The concept of a function plays an important role in theories of mind, language, perception, and normativity, not to mention scientific and social theories. We invite philosophers working on these topics for a collaborative discussion on the metaphysics of functions and their normative or theoretical significance. The conference will be held at Cornell University on September 19-21, 2025, in Myron Taylor Hall L28.
