Cornell University

BeComing is a space for discussion about personal experiences, successes, challenges, and growth – inside and outside of academic settings. Enjoy a catered lunch, free and open to all!

Ori BEN YOSSEF is a fourth-year undergraduate in mathematics, computer science, and the Humanities Scholars Program. More importantly, Ori is an eldest sibling, friend, mentor, teambuilder, active listener, voice of reason, and unconventional thinker. Through times of joy and times of struggle, Ori has strengthened his resolve that we need to live our truth, to assert our humanity, and to dream boldly. Therefore, during his BeComing talk, Ori would like to give back by sharing the experiences that led him where he is today. On campus, Ori has been involved with EARS (Empathy, Assistance, and Referral Service), Salsa Pa'Lante, Cornell Lion Dance, and Emerging Markets Institute Club. In addition, Ori loves to play badminton, take nature walks, cook for friends, and tell dreams—but not at the same time!

We strive to make our events accessible to everyone. For accommodation requests and information, please contact aasp@cornell.edu or aaac@cornell.edu.
