3-part series: Cooking Around the World

Join our Nutrition Educator, Ann Supa, for a FREE, three week, hands-on cooking series at the Mary Wilcox Library for Broome County veteran families. Each week we will focus on a different country our veterans were stationed at, cook a dish highlighting their culture, and learning a little more about kitchen skills and food safety. The countries we "visit" will be determined by attendees input on countries you were stationed in.

You must commit to all three sessions. At the third session we will give each family a cooking utensil used during our series to use in their home kitchen. We welcome a spouse, partner and/or family member to attend with the veteran. Youth are welcome. There is NO COST to attend but registration is required as food is purchased to be cooked at each class. Class size is limited to 10 veteran families and the veteran must attend.
