Contemplative Practices in the Cornell Curriculum: Brown Bag Lunch Conversations
Thursday, October 23, 2014 12pm to 1pm
About this Event
“Contemplative practices.” What is that? Contemplative higher education is part of a rich tradition of experiential education which combines domains of experience and knowing into learning. Reflection, increasingly used by a diversity of instructors, is a good example of this type of practice, as are forms of service, and learning to listen well.
Join us on October 23 and November 20 for an informal, two-session brown bag lunch series. We will 1) exchange strategies for incorporating CP into Cornell courses and 2) exchange information and resources about outcomes connected to CP-included instruction.
