Gordon Pennycook, Associate Professor, Cornell University
1:30 pm in 102 Mann
In this talk I'll go over a recent paper we published showing that evidence-based conversations with AI are surprisingly effective at undermining beliefs in conspiracies. I will also present some recent (unpublished) follow-up experiments. Finally, I will briefly provide a broader outline of my research program, which is focused on understanding the nature of human reasoning.
