Please join us for a robust discussion with ArwaOluwa Adaramola, Postdoctoral Associate at the Center for Teaching Innovation about how we can structure courses, assignments, and class time so that students are less afraid to take risks, perceive their lacks as failures, and embrace learning uncertainty.
AraOluwa Adaramola is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Center for Teaching Innovation, focusing on alternative student assessment practices at Cornell. Her research investigates student learning experience and academic performance in engineering classes. She holds a PhD and BSc in chemical engineering from Purdue University. In conversation with Dr. Adaramola is Dr. Michelle LaVigne, a senior lecturer and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Communication. Dr. LaVigne’s research transverses the areas of dance, rhetoric, and performance; and she is interested in inclusive pedagogies that offer flexible learning
opportunities and promote community engagement.
