Roberto Junguito Bonnet is well known in international banking and financial circles. A Colombian economist, he has served twice as Minister of Finance and Public Credit for Colombia.

Dr. Junguito Bonnet also served as the Colombian Minister of Agriculture, the Director of the Colombian Central Bank Board, the Colombian representative to the International Coffee Organization, and the Colombian Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund. He also served as Colombia’s Ambassador to France and the European Union. He is currently President of the Federation of Colombian Insurers and a weekly columnist on the economic newspaper La República.

Dr. Junguito Bonnet received his undergraduate degree from the Universidad de Los Andes, Colombia, and his PhD in economics from Princeton University. Additionally, he studied at the London School of Economics and Université Libre de Bruxelles.
