Workshop Title: Intro to SAS
Description: This is a 2 part workshop. First part on 9/10 and the second part on 9/12. Same location and time for both days. Day 1 will provide an overview of SAS and why it is so widely used. Topics will include: creating SAS data sets, reading raw data files, creating temporary and permanent SAS data sets, generating summary reports and frequency tables, simple procedures, labeling variables, distinguishing between numeric and character variables and identifying common programming logic errors. Day 2 will cover procedures for statistics, ODS, merging data sets as well as validating and cleaning data.
Location: Mann Library, Stone Classroom, room 103.
